Incider Records was founded on a clear position: music is made by people. It comes from real experiences and deliberate choices. We focus on protecting that work and the individuals who create it.
We support artists who write and perform their own material. We make sure their work remains theirs. This requires a clear stance on AI in creative environments.
Incider Records does not use generative AI in music, artwork, writing, or storytelling.
Creativity belongs to the people who make the work. AI can reproduce patterns, but it cannot create from lived experience. It cannot form intent. It cannot claim authorship. Our priority is to protect the work of the artists who trust us.
Music created by people carries context and purpose. We want to keep it that way.
AI‑generated material complicates rights and authorship. We avoid those risks. Artists own their work without exception.
Northern Ireland’s music scene is built by musicians, producers, engineers, designers, and photographers. We support the people who contribute to it.
We do not use tools that replace human decision‑making or creative labour.
Our process stays human from start to finish.
Music is written, performed, and produced by artists and collaborators.
Artwork comes from photographers, designers, illustrators, and visual artists in our community.
Written material is created through direct conversations with the people involved.
Promotion focuses on the work itself, not automated systems.
Each release is shaped by people who take their craft seriously.
Incider Records commits to:
Transparent options for artists to negotiate ownership or reclaim rights.
Being transparent about how their work is used
Rejecting AI‑generated imitations or derivatives of their art
Opposing the use of AI to mimic voices, styles, or identities
We handle their work with care and clarity.
Technology will continue to change. Our values will not. Incider Records will support human‑made music, protect artist ownership, and back the voices that define Northern Ireland’s creative community.
We stand with the people who create and the people who listen.
